What I HOPE to see in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

With less than 24 hours before Dr Strange releases in the UK, I thought it would be a good idea to write down my hopes of what I want to see in this multiversal film. I don’t expect these things to happen so I will keep my hopes low as I don’t want to overhype myself like I did with WandaVision. So to avoid disappointment please don't expect what I hope to happen will come true. Let's jump straight into it.

Number 1 – Lots of Wanda

I have really loved watching the journey of Wanda and how she became The Scarlett Witch. I hope this movie gives her character justice, whether she is the main villain or not, as she has the potential to be the make or break of this film. I also hope she gets some sort of reunion with her children Billy & Tommy.

Number 2 – Cameos

As this is a multiverse film I hope to see many surprise cameos as they can squeeze into it without ruining the overall quality of the film. Some of these, I hope stick around for most of the movie (like spider-man: No Way Home) and some are quick glances/ easter eggs.

For example we could have Captain Carter as a breif encounter but Deadpool is a main player in terms of the plot of for the movie.

Number 3 – Doctor Strange

After all, this is a Doctor Strange movie so I hope his character is still at the forefront. I hope the cameos and the amount of characters rumoured to be in it, don’t take away from the core elements and the core characters.

Number 4 – Intricate Storytelling

This movie has the potential to bring out so many emotions in each member of the audience, from the tragic downfall of Wanda to the nostalgic feelings of seeing old characters back onto the big screen. If done right, this movie can be as good as, or even better than Infinity War and Endgame.

Number 5 – A Goosebump Worthy Moment

I really hope there is a scene like the Portal scene in Avengers Engame that blows my mind and fills my body with excitement. Imagine Doctor Strange, America Chavez, Captain Carter, Deadpool, Professor X, The X-Men, Tobey Maquire’s Spider-Man and some of The Avengers fighgting against Wanda (or the main threat). I know that this expectation maybe too much but I hope something similar to this happens but I won’t hold the movie down if it doesn’t include this.
